These terms and conditions apply to all orders for concrete, aggregates, and services provided by Coe-Mix. By placing an order, the Customer agrees to these terms in full.
2. Quality & Product Use- Standards: All concrete is batched using high-quality materials to meet recognized industry strengths and specifications.
- On-Site Alterations: Coe-Mix is responsible for the product as it leaves the vehicle. We accept no liability for the strength or finish of the concrete if water, chemicals, or other materials are added on-site by the Customer or their contractor.
- Curing: The Customer is responsible for the correct placement, protection, and curing of the concrete once discharged.
- Access Requirements: The Customer must provide safe and suitable access for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).
- Liability: Coe-Mix accepts no responsibility for damage to pavements, driveways, or underground services when delivering off the public highway at the Customer's request.
- Timing: While we strive for punctuality, delivery times are estimates. Coe-Mix is not liable for costs associated with delays caused by traffic, weather, or site issues.
- Allotted Time: A standard window of 30 minutes is allowed for the discharge of each load.
- Additional Charges: We reserve the right to charge a standing fee for delays or slow discharge caused by the Customer’s site arrangements.
- Notice Period: To avoid charges, cancellations or changes to orders must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
- Wasted Loads: Due to the perishable nature of concrete, orders cancelled once the vehicle is loaded or in transit will be charged in full.
- Domestic/Private Orders: Payment must be cleared prior to discharge unless a prior arrangement is in place.
- Trade Accounts: Payment terms for account holders are strictly as defined in the Trade Account Application agreement.
Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the goods supplied. Coe-Mix will not be held liable for consequential losses, including but not limited to labor costs, hire charges, or liquidated damages resulting from delays or product issues.
